The argumented reality (AR) technology will play an important role for the realization of Society 5.0 and metaverse which combine the virtual world and real world. As the visual interface device used for the future AR technology, the contact lens display attracts attentions, which can be used in eyes. The contact lens display using the holographic technique is explained, including its operating priciple and the preliminary experimental results. It is compared to the previous contact lens display techniques.
