The development of superconducting quantum computers is accelerating. Attractive small-sized applications called the NISQ computation are the current driving force of the development, and 50 to 1000-qubit-sized quantum computers with an error rate below 1% are targeted for research topics. We, a joint team in Japan, have established 50-qubit-sized devices, with expanding research fields from device and fabrication to software and from academic to industry. In this talk, I will review the current status of our research to date and discuss prospects for superconducting quantum computers.
