To achieve high stability in asynchronous optical sampling (ASOPS) methods for fast time-resolved measurements, a dual optical frequency comb-based ASOPS method has been proposed. Conventionally, the stability of the dual-comb measurement has largely depended on the stability of the repetition frequency of the optical comb, but in this study, conditions were found that enabled extremely stable ASOPS experiments even when the repetition frequency fluctuated by a few Hz.
