We report the characteristics of an all-solid-state secondary batteries that has a layered structure including a multivalent metal negative electrode such as magnesium, zinc, and aluminum, a polymer electrolyte layer containing KI, a polymer electrolyte layer containing LiCl, and a carbon positive electrode.
