Hydrogel materials are hydrous and flexible, and are expected for Organ on a Chip (OoC) applications. Although the introduction of highly conductive metals into hydrogels enables electrical stimulation and measurement in OoC devices, the fabrication of hydrogel-metal composites requires a complicated process. In this study, we propose a method to transfer metal onto a hydrogel surface by a simple process of drying hydrogel on a thin metal film.
