In a ferromagnet/superconductor/ferromagnet superconducting spin-valve,
a modulation of the superconducting transition temperature (ΔTc) is realized by a change of the magnetization alignment of the two ferromagnetic layers.
In this study, we have fabricated high-Tc superconducting spin-valves with various ferromagnetic manganites and investigated the effects of electrical and magnetic properties of the ferromagnetic layer and the thickness of the superconductor layer on the magnitude of ΔTc.
In my presentation, I will discuss the origin of the pair breaking effects and the factors that determine the magnitude of ΔTc in high-Tc superconducting spin-valves.
