While current nanocrystalline amorphous alloy materials have high saturation magnetic flux density, the effect of local magnetostriction in both the amorphous matrix phase and the iron nanocrystalline phase is a bottleneck in reducing iron loss. In this study, rare earth elements and magnetostriction in nanocrystalline amorphous alloys were investigated by experimentally preparing new nanocrystalline alloy thin films and evaluating their magnetic properties.
