There is currently no established method for evaluating the frequency dependence of magnetic properties in high frequency bands exceeding 10 GHz. AIST has developed a transformer-coupled magnetic permeability measuring system as one of the evaluation methods, and has developed a technology that can measure complex magnetic permeability in the range of 1 MHz to 44 GHz with a small sample amount and high sensitivity.
In this presentation, we will report on a comprehensive evaluation of magnetic materials, including frequency characteristic evaluation of complex magnetic permeability of nickel powder and other physical and chemical evaluations.
