[25a-P01-2]Stability of insulative perovskite YBiO3 film grown on BaBiO3 buffer layer

We investigated the stability of YBiO3 film, which is a candidate for an oxide topological insulator. Perovskite YBiO3 film was grown on a perovskite BaBiO3 by pulse laser deposition. The crystal structure was characterised by using X-ray. Their stability was examined by using a microscope. We found that YBiO3 was more stable than perovskite BaBiO3. This result shows the possibility of the compatibility of the stability in the ambient air and the bulk insulative topological oxide insulator.
