Anomalous Nernst effect (ANE) is the three-dimensional thermoelectric effect which generates the electric field in the perpendicular direction of the magnetization and the heat current. Currently, the thermoelectric power is low using this effect. Thus, the various materials have been investigated. Fe-Ga disordered alloys have been reported that the effect is very large, but the origin hasn’t been revealed. In this study, we investigate the properties related to ANE in the compositional dependence of Fe-Ga single crystal and polycrystal.
