The industrial metaverse constructs a virtual space and is being applied to on-site work processes. Hitachi has developed a metaverse incorporating the concept of 5D (3D space + time + semantic), and is implementing and utilising generative AI, etc., and studying practical applications onsite. The industrial metaverse facilitates communication and consensus building among members with different positions and knowledge, and enables the sharing of know-how.
