[10a-N103-3]Boson peak in silica glass and physics of jamming transition

In this talk, we will discuss the Boson Peak in silica glass. Although the vibrational states in silica glass have been actively measured through light, inelastic X-ray, and neutron scattering experiments, the connection with theoretical understanding remains limited. In this study, we perform molecular dynamics simulations on silica glass to understand the behavior of the dynamical structure factors observed in experiments. We particularly aim to understand this behavior based on the physics of jamming transition, which has been developed in theoretical research.
