In single molecule junctions, there are structural degrees of freedom in the interface structure between molecules and electrodes, and these affects the properties of single-molecule junctions such as thermopower. However, the effects of these degrees of freedom have not been revealed. In this study, we developed a new method for fast simultaneous measurement of electrical conductance and thermopower during the stretching process of single molecule junctions. Using this method, we traced the thermopower fluctuation by the change of the interface structure in real time, and revealed the influence of the interface change on the thermopower.
