Aiming to create low-cost solar cells that do not require high-temperature, high-vacuum processes, we formed PEDOT:PSS films on n-type silicon using an electrostatic spray method and investigated the effect of methanol addition level. As a result, the interface passivation improved as the methanol ratio increased, and the maximum value of open circuit voltage (Voc) was 0.57V at a ratio of 1:40. This suggests that methanol contributes to the improvement of passivation, and future work is needed to elucidate the mechanism.
