In this study, we analyzed the structural change of the anode of a real battery by high-energy synchrotron radiation X-ray diffraction method with high temporal resolution in order to clarify the anode structural characteristics of lithium polymer batteries during charging and discharging. As a result, it was confirmed that the anode structure shows different changes depending on the discharge rate, suggesting that the results contribute to a detailed understanding of the electrode degradation process. The results have implications for the design of electrode configuration, materials, and electrolytes for lithium-ion batteries.
