Until now, applied research has not progressed much due to the absence of an efficient synthesis method. However, in recent years, a direct mixing method has been developed to synthesize A3C60 by directly mixing A (= K, Rb, Cs) and C60 and then subjecting the mixture to short-term heat treatment at relatively low temperatures (~400℃). In this presentation, I will report on the dependence of Rb doping amount and heat treatment temperature on the samples synthesized using the direct mixing method and their critical current density Jc evaluation.
