Plasmon resonance excited in noble metal nanostructure confines light field and generates amplified optical field. Galvanic replacement reaction (GRR) is a redox reaction that proceeds between two distinct metal species. Photo-assisted GRR can be utilized to fabricate unique noble metal hybrid nanostructures, as the reaction proceed rapidly at the enhanced plasmonic optical field. In this study, we fabricated noble metal hybrid nanostructures and evaluated their optical properties by dark-field and non-linear optical microscopy.
