To elucidate charge transport and localization phenomena in amorphous organic semiconductor thin films, we perform simulations combining quantum chemical calculations, molecular dynamics, and kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) methods. These simulations are used to investigate the existence of a transport energy level (mobility edge) that separates delocalized charge transport levels from localized trap states.
