To improve the yield of blue-emitting CsPbBr3 quantum dots, we systematically investigated the precursor solution drop volume, stirring time, and purification conditions. In situ PL measurements revealed that the formation of large crystals caused yield loss. By suppressing their formation, we achieved a high quantum yield of 86.9% at 462 nm while improving the overall yield.
