Organic thin film transistor
The initial carrier injection process from the contact electrode into the semiconductor layer is the first step in device operation in organic field effect transistor(OFET), and its efficiency determines the upper limit of the device's operating speed. We performed time-resolved observation of this initial carrier injection process using extended time-domain reflectometry. We observed carrier injection process within a few nanoseconds after the beginning of a gate voltage application in OFET structure using Ph-BTBT-10 as a semiconductor layer.
