In the solar cell neutron dosimeters, the generated charged particles produced by neutron capture are self-absorbed in the converter films. Therefore, we propose a novel fabrication process in which neutron-absorbing materials are mixed with semiconductor powders and sintered. In this study, CdTe polycrystals with BN powder were fabricated by the powder sintering method, and the effects ofγ-ray and neutron irradiation were investigated.
