Pathological changes in the cell nucleus can alter its physical properties. Therefore, we capture cells and measure the amount of deformation when an external force is applied. We are developing a mechanism to measure the force and to capture the cell in the cantilever. The goal is to achieve single cell level capture by attaching a Platium foil as a cantilever between electrodes.
