Heat flow sensors can directly measure the heat emitted from an object by attaching a sensor to the heating element. However, the inability to control the surface emissivity of the sensor over a wide range is a factor that reduces the measurement accuracy. In this study, we report on the fabrication of a flexible heat flow sensor that can adjust the surface emissivity over a wide range by applying a CNT-based thermoelectric device.
