FAPbI3 is a promising light-absorbing material for the perovskite solar cells due to its high thermal stability and broad absorption wavelength range, but it has a problem in stability under ambient condition. Previous studies have shown that the addition of the material, which can enhance hydrophobicity, improves both stability and efficiency. In this study, we have chosen isobutylammonium chloride as a hydrophobic additive and the effect of the addition has been investigated. As a result, both long-term stability and absorbance were enhanced due to the addition of isobutylammonium, and, in addition, the photoelectric conversion efficiency has increased by more than 3% on average and maximum.
