Photon-counting computed tomography (PC-CT) is a next-generation imaging technology that detects individual X-ray photons and measures their energy. In this study, we developed an advanced PC-CT system by extending our previously validated one-dimensional system, incorporating a two-dimensional MPPC array with 1,024 channels. In this presentation, we will report on the system overview and the results of imaging performance evaluation.
