This research focuses on developing an Optical-guiding Crystal Scintillator (OCS), which aims to achieve both high resolution and high sensitivity for X-ray imaging. The OCS consists of a low refractive index glass cladding and a high refractive index scintillator core, guiding the scintillator light through total internal reflection. This study fabricated an OCS plate using Tl:Cs3Cu2I5 as the core material and evaluated its X-ray imaging performance. We will report on the detailed fabrication methods, radiation response characteristics, and imaging evaluation results at the presentation.
