We are conducting research to demonstrate the usefulness of nanosecond pulsed lasers in laser decontamination. In this presentation, we report the results of comparing the removal amount of a target (SUS304 material) by changing the pulse duration and pulse repetition rate under the condition of a constant input laser energy per unit area using a 100 W fiber laser. We also report the progress of an attempt to evaluate the particle size of dust generated by laser decontamination using laser scattering.
