The development of high work function electrodes that align with the HOMO levels of organic semiconductors and perovskite materials used in light-emitting and photovoltaic devices is essential for improving device performance. In this study, seven types of acceptor molecules were deposited on ITO and ITO/Al substrates, and the thickness-dependent changes in work function were systematically evaluated. As a result, a significant increase in work function was observed for some molecules when deposited on Al, suggesting their potential application as high work function electrodes in devices.
