To reproduce and understand the helical structures observed in biological tissues, the construction of three-dimensional helical scaffolds is essential. We have proposed a non-contact material transfer technique using optical vortices, termed Optical Vortex-induced Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (OV-LIFT), and have successfully demonstrated high-resolution and high-precision transfer of various donor materials. In this study, we applied the unique feature of OV-LIFT, where donor materials rotate while flying linearly, to bioink materials, and explored its potential for constructing helical scaffolds.
