CsPbBr3 nanocrystals (CsPbBr3NCs) have recently garnered significant attention due to their excellent luminescent properties. However, their poor stability in water—a consequence of their ionic crystal structure—poses a crucial disadvantage, hindering industrial applications. In this study, we focused on a unique property of Cs4PbBr6NCs: their ability to convert into CsPbBr3NCs with relatively high water resistance at the oil-water interface. By combining Cs4PbBr6NCs with a miniemulsion poor solvent evaporation method, we successfully developed a highly stable and emissive water-based ink containing CsPbBr3NCs.
