hexagonal boron nitride

Hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) is a promising metal-free catalyst for hydrogenation and dehydrogenation reactions. Improving its catalytic activity requires enhancing its crystallinity and increasing its specific surface area. In this study, we explored reaction conditions for synthesizing highly crystalline h-BN at relatively low temperatures. Furthermore, we investigated the catalytic performance of the obtained h-BN samples in the dehydrogenation reaction of indoline derivatives.
