Dodecylammonium iodide (DDAI) has attracted attention as a highly stable material for perovskite solar cells. We have previously reported on the fabrication of DDAI thin films using vacuum deposition, but research on DDAI itself is limited, particularly regarding thin film formation. On the other hand, DDAI thin films exhibit an aging effect where they transform into a different phase when stored in air, but the mechanism behind this phenomenon remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the influence of storage atmosphere on structural changes in DDAI thin films.
