Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) are a material that has attracted much attention as a material for gas sensors in recent years. Because the fabrication of high-performance gas sensors requires scarce SWNT dispersions, improving the efficiency of their use is a problem. Therefore, in this study, we used electro-spray deposition (ESD) method to form SWNT thin films. The amount of dispersion used for the formation was low, and the response of the films to NH3 gas was higher than that of conventional methods. These results indicate that ESD method is an effective method for forming SWNT films for gas sensors.
