Layered mixed-anion compounds have a stacking structure of layers composed of multiple anions and exhibit a wide variety of functionalities. While most of the compounds were considered to be incongruent-melting, we have reported that the layered oxychalcogenide Sr2CoCu2Se2O2 and its analogues exhibit congruent-melting and can be grown as single crystals by the melt-growth method. In this study, we attempted to grow single crystals of layered oxychalcogenides Sr2CoCu2Te2O2 and Sr2CoCu2(Se,Te)2O2 and to evaluate their physical properties.
