The anomalous Nernst effect (ANE), in which a voltage is generated perpendicular to both the temperature gradient and magnetization, has potential applications in flexible heat flow sensors and thermoelectric generation devices. We focused on Tb-Fe-Co alloys, which exhibit relatively large ANEs despite their amorphous nature, and investigated in detail the factors contributing to the generation of ANE through systematic studies. In Amo. Tb~10(Fe50Co50)~90, both intrinsic and extrinsic contributions are the largest, with a large value of 1.8 µV/K. large values.
