Our group has reported the fabrication of single-crystal thin films with mm-scale domains by controlling the crystallization from the liquid crystal phase of C8-BTBT thin films using substrate temperature gradients and changes in film thickness after post-annealing. In this presentation, we will report on the results of our efforts to control crystallization from the liquid crystal phase by using an induction layer that promotes nucleation of C8-BTBT as a new method.
