This study aims to elucidate the effect of stimulated emission on superfluorescence. We consider a model with many layers composed of multiple two-level systems arranged in the region below the wavelength of light. We calculate the time evolution of photoluminescence based on the excitation density and the correlation between the two-level systems in a single layer and the propagator of light between different layers, and clarify the effect of stimulated emission on superfluorescence by focusing on the dependence of photoluminescence on the arrangement of layers
