The purpose of this study is to clarify the formation of liquid micro grating using azobenzene molecular thin films, whose surface structures can be controlled by light, and the vibration response of the diffracted light. Here, we investigated the periodic arrangement of microdroplets formed on grating of azobenzene thin films fabricated using a two-beam interference fields, as well as vibrational response of the diffracted light arising from the composite grating of the droplets and the azo thin films.
