In terahertz time-domain spectroscopy (THz-TDS), the complex refractive index can be directly determined by simultaneously acquiring phase and amplitude. However, in fiber-based THz-TDS systems, temperature variations cause changes in optical path length, leading to phase shifts and preventing accurate determination of the complex refractive index. In this study, we developed a method to compensate for thermallly induced phase shifts. Through numerical simulations and experiments, we validated this method and successfully obtained the complex refractive index with high precision.
