Atomic force microscopy (AFM) enables direct investigation of biomolecular interactions, making it a powerful tool for elucidating molecular recognition mechanisms. In this study, an atom tracking method was implemented on a liquid AFM in order to perform numerous force curve measurements on isolated SA molecules to improve the accuracy of specific binding force measurement between SA-biotin. We attempted to track Ag nanoparticles in liquid AFM and succeeded in tracking atoms for 5 minutes.
