Analog neuromorphic hardware capable of running spiking neural networks (SNNs) is attracting attention as a solution to the power-consumption challenges of AI inference. In this presentation, I will explain learning alrogithms that realize temporal coding, algorithm–hardware co-design techniques for mitigating non-ideal characteristics, and physical neural-network approaches.
