2D materials such as transition-metal dichalcogenide (TMDC) form 3D single crystals with stacking 2D layers via van del Waals force. To make best use of the optical and electric features of the TMDC, it is crucial to conduct the transfer in an ideal manner and to clarify the features in configurations involving metasurfaces etc. Here we started our study using a MoS2 crystal, repeated exfoliation and dry transfer, and finally obtained many single crystal flakes of the 2D material. We report the optical and mechanical characteristics.
