A structure in which Mie-resonant silicon nanoparticles are placed on a metallic mirror (silicon nanoparticles-on-mirror; SiNPoM) exhibits optical properties that depend on the distance between the nanoparticle and the mirror. In this study, we investigate the influence of Fabry-Pérot modes formed in the nanoparticle–mirror gap on the electric and magnetic dipole resonances of the silicon nanoparticles.
