This study aims to detect proteins such as glycated albumin (GA), a biomarker for diabetes. An aptamer with binding affinity for GA and a probe DNA with a complementary sequence are immobilized on the surface of an ITO channel. After the GA-aptamer reaction occurs in solution, the remaining aptamers hybridize with the probe DNA, enabling competitive and quantitative detection of GA.
