We aim to realize ultra-compact IoT edge devices that can digitize everything, and have been working on the design of energy harvesting circuits powered by ambient light using solar cells. In this study, we designed a temperature sensor circuit to be mounted on the ultra-compact IoT edge device developed in previous research. Evaluation of the circuit showed that it successfully converted temperature into linear digital data under ambient light operation, demonstrating successful operation of the temperature sensor powered solely by ambient light.
