To overcome the limited memory, poor integrability, and high power consumption inherent to highly nonlinear-fiber (HNLF) reservoir computing (RC), we propose an optical RC architecture that uses the frequency comb generated by non-degenerate four-wave mixing in a micro-optical resonator as the reservoir. Numerical simulations show that, even after drastically reducing the number of time-multiplexed virtual nodes, the proposed scheme achieves accuracy comparable to or better than conventional fiber RC on the Santa Fe chaotic time-series prediction task. Introducing a memory-mask preprocessing further improves accuracy without any time-multiplexing, demonstrating a feasible path toward fully integrated, low-power photonic RC systems.
