In this study, photocatalytic electrodes composed of tungsten oxide (WO3) and gallium nitride (GaN) were fabricated to evaluate their performance in the photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide under ultraviolet light irradiation. The reduction activity was verified through methylene blue decomposition tests. Additionally, the presence of formic acid in the reaction products was confirmed using nuclear magnetic resonance, and the effects of the composition and structure of WO3 and GaN on the reactivity were investigated.
