The injection-seeded terahertz (THz)-wave parametric generator is a high-intensity, single-frequency THz-wave source with wide frequency tunability from 0.4 to 5.0 THz. Although previous studies have simulated the generation and intensity distribution of THz-waves inside lithium niobate crystals, detailed observations of the THz-wave amplification process have been rarely reported. In this study, the probe beam was injected from the Z-surface of the crystal, and the detection Stokes beam was measured using a near-infrared camera. As a result, THz parametric fluorescence was successfully observed. This result suggests that the spatial distribution of THz-waves in the xy-plane of the crystal can be measured.
