GaInP solar cells with DBR layers were irradiated with laser light of wavelengths 638 nm, 650 nm, and 660 nm at varying intensities. As a result, the maximum conversion efficiency of 50.1% was achieved when irradiated with 150 mW (3.4 W/cm2) of 650 nm laser light. Further improvement in conversion efficiency is expected by narrowing the grid electrode width of GaInP solar cells.
