Monolayer networks of p-type semiconducting polymers, poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT), were prepared by the co-spread method with liquid crystal molecules on water. Chemical doping was achieved by spin-coating a dopant solution onto the films. We used Tris(4-bromophenyl)ammoniumyl hexachloroantimonate, known as Magic Blue, as doping materials. The surface structures of the films were observed by atomic force microscopy. The doping states of the films were evaluated by UV–Vis–NIR absorption spectroscopy. Nonlinear electrical characteristics of the P3HT networks were investigated by current–voltage measurements and voltage–time measurements of sinusoidal input signals with different peak-to-peak voltage and frequency, and their corresponding output signals. Reservoir characteristics of the networks were evaluated by waveform generation tasks using a multi-electrode.
